Sonny is still struggling to repair his relationship with Kristina.  He suggested a “family” dinner at the lake house as a way to spend time with her. He insisted that I invite Michael as well, ostensibly to help Kristina see her father in a different light. I suspect he also wanted to use the dinner as a ruse to spend time with Michael as well, since he’s supposed to stay away from him as a condition of Michael’s release. It would have been nice if Carly would have allowed Morgan to come but a part of me does understand her decision to keep him away from Sonny.

Wait, this means that I have to actually “cook” dinner for everyone. Oh, Journal if you only knew of my past kitchen disasters.  I should have asked Sonny to prepare the meal but he would probably protest that my kitchen was not up to his standards and that the purpose of the dinner was for him to spend more time with his kids. Maybe if I cook pasta I can convince Sonny to prepare the sauce ahead of time and bring it with him so the meal will not be a total loss.  Well, if all else fails everyone can bond over having to consume yet another one of my colossal culinary calamities. Oy! Wish me luck!
