Hi  Everyone,

I apologize in the delay in getting this written, but I’ve just now had a chance to sit down and write since it’s been a crazy and wonderful week.  The highlight of my week was my birthday of course, and you all definitely had a hand in making it one of the best I’ve had in a few years.

Each year I am so lucky to have all of you think of me enough on my birthday to make it special. As you all know, around my birthday, Tracy and CC  ask me what I’d like for my birthday from the website and each year, it’s always something different. This year, when they asked if there was a spa I might like to visit or something else special I'd like, I hinted that I might want some jewelry.

So lo and behold, on my birthday,  CC shows up and says, “For your birthday, the members of your website are giving you exactly what you want — a  mini-shopping  spree for some jewelry.  Let’s go!”  To make a long story short, we ultimately ended up at one of my favorite local jewelry shops.  I was like a kid in a candy store!  There were so many beautiful pieces to choose from and I wanted them all, lol.  Eventually,  I settled on three of the prettiest pieces in the store.  

So as I tried to wear the jewelry out of the store, I was immediately notified that I couldn’t do that, lol.  CC said they’d be wrapped and I’d have to wait until later for my gifts because they came with something else.  Later on that night at dinner, I showed up to flowers and balloons from all of you, too!

I can’t thank you all enough for your generosity every year and there is no way for me to fully articulate the appreciation that I feel that you all think that much of me to give me such wonderful and pretty things.  I’d also like to thank Tracy and CC for coordinating and organizing this every year—it’s something that I’ve come to look forward to.

I love, love, love this jewelry and I promise to wear it often—so be on the look out, you’ll never know when I might show up with these pieces on! Did I mention that I love them? Lol.
